We are paid by the companies we promote

Apollo is a paid service provider to the companies it works for. Content Apollo distributes about a client is published on behalf of that client. Unless Content states otherwise, assume that the company it features is an Apollo client that has paid, or will pay, Apollo for services.

Apollo is paid in cash. Some engagements also include stock options in the company, granted under the company's option plan and subject to exchange approval. Apollo is never paid in shares. Each piece of Content distributed on a client's behalf states the company on whose behalf it is published and the nature, source and amount of the compensation. Where a company is required by securities law or exchange policy to disclose its engagement of Apollo, it does so in its own public filings, available on SEDAR+ (sedarplus.ca) or EDGAR.

Apollo's fees are set by the services Apollo provides. They are never based on a company's share price, trading volume, financing results or any other measure of market performance. Where Apollo holds stock options, their value rises and falls with the share price, which is itself a conflict of interest.

This compensation is a conflict of interest. Apollo has a financial interest in the companies it promotes, and that interest may benefit from increased investor attention, trading volume or share price. Content Apollo distributes on a client's behalf is not independent, unbiased or objective analysis and should not be read as such. We do not guarantee any outcome.

Content that Apollo distributes on behalf of a client is paid advertising for that client. It is promotional, it presents the company favourably, and it may not describe every risk or every negative fact about the company.

Positions in securities

Apollo, its principals, employees, contractors and their related parties may hold securities of companies featured in Content. These may include shares they have bought with their own money, which are investments and not compensation, and stock options granted to Apollo as compensation, along with any shares acquired by exercising them. They may buy or sell those securities, subject to applicable securities laws. Their positions may be inconsistent with views expressed in Content, and their interests may differ from yours. Where Content is required to disclose a holding, it does so.

Apollo, its principals, employees and contractors do not buy or sell securities of a company in anticipation of Content about that company, and do not time any purchase or sale around the preparation, release or distribution of Content.
